Cook new meals

Last we entered lockdown mode only essential services are now open. Government advice is that all people stay home. It’s quite daunting not knowing exactly how long this is going to be like this.

To keep busy i’ve started cooking more. Yesterday i cooked apple & chicken sausages, i’ve been wanting to cook this for a while but never quite got round to it. This lockdown is the perfect opportunity to do all of the ‘never quite got round to’ tasks you have ever had.

Here’s the recipe i used.

  • 1 onion
  • 2 apples
  • 500g boneless chicken
  • fresh sage (leave out if you don’t have it)
  • ground pepper
  • salt
  • cinnamon powder

Method

  1. Cut onions and apples.
  2. Place into food processor and grind down
  3. Saute the mixture until soft
  4. Process the chicken in a blender until it’s mince like
  5. Put the sauted mix from the frying pan into a bowl
  6. Mix in the chicken into the bowl
  7. Add salt, pepper and cinnamon to taste
  8. Mix together with hands
  9. Bake in the oven at 180C for 15 minutes

Result: Super tasty and healthy meal.
