I’m still trying to figure out the best time to sit and write, This total change of normal routine is taking some getting used to.
I’m started to get quite bored of the news now, it’s too much of a mental drain. Instead i’m adhering to advice by Stephen Fry, pick a couple of times a day where you check in on the news. Ignore it all other times. My moments to check the news are; when i wake up (usually anytime between 6 and 9am), late afternoon and though watching Newsnight before going to bed. Being less obsessive is helping maintain decent mental health.
I feel there is going to be quite a lot of free time in the coming weeks and months, prefect time to start things you’ve always wanted to do. I’m going to try get through 1 book a week, the lockdown means there should be time to do this. With the addition of reading my daily activities now consist of: Cooking, working, reading, blogging, occasional news checking, and walking/running.
I’m 99.98% sure, this won’t last.
